Medium teapot

This is anagama fired tea pot. Hand thrown out of the German clay. Wood fired in Karmazinu Anagama kiln for 114 hours in 1300°C. Tea pot features a dramatic array of colors and textures - from semi-gloss to ash-speckled matte yellow, gray and brown.
H 15 cm, W 19 cm, capacity 600 ml.
This piece is thrown on the wheel stoneware, high fired to vitrification at 1300°C centigrade to eliminate porosity, thus allowing the pieces to be used in the oven, freezer and dishwasher but nevertheless can break from mishandle.
Every item is 100% handmade by me and some of them can be recognized in specialized tea shops of London, Tokyo and Vilnius.
