This handmade small vase by ceramic artist Beatrice Kelerienė was fired in Dūkštos Anagama wood-fired kiln, where days of flame and natural ash created the rich, atmospheric surface that defines this piece. The vase features a softly rounded, elongated form with subtle wheel-thrown lines that give it a quiet sense of movement.

During the anagama firing, wood ash fused with the clay body, producing warm gradients of golden ochre, smoky grey, and earthy brown. These transitions—shaped entirely by the path of the fire—make the vase unique from every angle. The natural sheen and textured surface invite close viewing, revealing the depth and complexity characteristic of true wood-fired ceramics.

Compact yet full of presence, this vase works beautifully for a single stem, a small arrangement, or as a standalone sculptural object.
