This small anagama-fired vase by ceramic artist Beatrice Kelerienė captures the essence of fire born beauty — where form, flame, and natural ash work together to create a one-of-a-kind surface. Its graceful silhouette features a rounded body that tapers into a narrow, gently flared neck, giving the piece both refinement and quiet strength.
Fired for several days in a Dūkštos Anagama wood-fired kiln, the vase developed deep, smoky gradients of earth brown, charcoal, and subtle olive-grey. Natural ash deposits fused onto the clay, creating soft, luminous transitions and a slightly textured surface that rewards close viewing. The glossy fire-kissed highlights on one side speak to the dynamic path of the flames.
Compact but expressive, this vase is perfect for displaying a single stem, holding small arrangements, or standing alone as a sculptural accent.
