Small Vase

This is anagama fired vase. Thrown on the wheel, out of the German clay. Woodfired in Karmazinu Anagama kiln for 114 hours in 1300°C. Vase features a dramatic array of colors and textures- from semi-gloss to ash-speckled brown and gray.
Height 14 cm.
Width 13 cm.
This piece is thrown on the wheel stoneware, high fired to vitrification at 1300°C centigrade to eliminate porosity, thus allowing the pieces to be used in hard conditions but nevertheless can break from mishandle.
